4. Research the processor based on platform you chosen

5. Research other devices – memory, video cards, hard drives, monitors, DVD / CD, floppy, case and power supply modules, keyboard and mouse -

 

After you have decided your platform, motherboard and processor, the next, you need to research the other ingredients, to ensure everything is needed for your motherboard, power supply line of your choice is appropriate.

 

6. Double check the compatibility of all components

 

To double check your motherboard specifications is always a good idea, to check with the verify compatibility of each component. For example, ATX motherboard must be a case to support the ATX form factor, etc.).

 

7. List all the components and do the price comparisons -

 

Select the part you intend to use on a new computer and also check everything is compatible, you will want to make a list each part, then if you comparing the price, you will it is very different between each part depends on different store you shop.
