Why doesn’t my Computer Display not cover the whole screen ?

There’s the entire screen, the actual monitor. Then there’s the display that I look at when the computer is on. It doesn’t completely fill out the monitor. There’s a black border around it. It’s already been set to 1920×1080 but still not fitting. This wasn’t like this before. Any ideas on how I can correct the fit ?

I’m guessing connect via HDMI?
if thats the case then you need to adjust the overscan in your graphics card control panel (for ATI cards that should be the Catalyst control centre)
